I feel nothing;
I have no voice;
I lost my love;
I have only death to cling to.
A small tremor:
A ripple in a dead lake;
The movement of trees:
Barely there, yet so forceful.
They are hypnotic:
You must be quiet to see;
You must not see to hear:
They move as if breathing.
Something awakens;
And I begin to realize
I have everything...
And the love is overpowering.
I feel nothing;
I have no voice;
I lost my love;
I have only death to cling to.
A small tremor:
A ripple in a dead lake;
The movement of trees:
Barely there, yet so forceful.
They are hypnotic:
You must be quiet to see;
You must not see to hear:
They move as if breathing.
Something awakens;
And I begin to realize
I have everything...
And the love is overpowering.
