Class Spec Leads
#46
Just for clarification, will the Spec Leads be focusing on PvE (Grouping/Raiding) as they once did before, or will we need to focus on all aspects of our Specs, PvE, Raiding, and PvP?

Personally, I think that the Spec Leads should focus on the PvE and Raid aspects of their particular spec. Initially, most of us will be grinding levels to 80, so any tips/hints to help us along will be greatly appreciated. Plus, with the new Talent changes, there may be several of us who need to re-work our Talent Trees for optimal performance anyway.

Anyway, I don't really know what I'm talking about...

I think that pvp should be kept in mind by the leads, some more than others as those specs are better for pvp than others, but almost all specs are viable in pvp to a degree. It can enhance everyone's knowledge of the class/spec and pvp skills can apply in pve situations sometimes.

Any word on whats happening with this? Ideally I would think the chosen Class Spec Leads would want to put in as much research as possible while they are puttering through WotLK when it comes out on Thursday...

Greetings All,

Given the current frenzy of leveling, alting, etc. that we are all participating in the Officers have decided that we are going to wait a bit to implement the new Class Spec Leads. I will post again when we open it back up as I suspect a lot of people, myself included, might be playing different specs or even characters than they were previously.

Thank you all for your input and enthusiasm. Have fun leveling and we will revisit this in a bit.
