and Garhgal, you missed the step about writing the hack which let's you log out during combat! Get that in there and Vyth may have a thing or two she needs to get setup. :p

Heres my hack I use to logout in combat...."Push and Hold power button on PC, wait 2 seconds"

Sure, running into the pack and fearing is a nice thing, but I think you forgot one very important element. Shouldn't you have thrown a Seed of Corruption on the nearest group that is not aggro'd also? Preferably by tab targeting and getting a mob wandering around either upstairs or downstairs of your current location?

Krell really is the master of dealing with this kind of thing, so we regularly ensure he's the one assigned to handle diffusing player-bombs. He sometimes objects, but that's just Krell - his modesty really is impressive. To ensure he gets a chance to help you, I highly recommend using auto-follow.

And for the record, using a ranged weapon while fighting Zul'Jin is over-rated. For those that want real adventure, try this:

1. Make sure you dont repair your armor/weapons for several days.
2. Get invited spontaneously to some random, difficult encounter/boss fight.
3. Make sure that you die during the fight, to ensure maximum damage to your armor and weapons.

NOTE: If possible, cause the group to wipe, as this will cause all those involved to grow closer together.

4. Get rezzed during battle, and resume shooting.
5. Spend several moments trying to figure out why youre not shooting.
6. Check your supply or arrows. Check for some strange, new debuff that causes you to not fire a bow.
7. Finally, realize your bow is RED, and no longer functional.

NOTE: While doing points 4-7, please make sure you are not saying anything to the group about your problems. And be sure to run around the entire area, as if range to target has something to do with it.

8. Casually say over Vent, "Ummm, guys, my Bows broke."
9. Wait for cursing and laughter to stop, and charge in and Wing Clip the boss to death.
10. After boss is dead, make sure you remember to loot the Epic Bow that dropped...

'course, what's even funnier is that, right before all this, Krell was trying to convince me that he successfully CCed a dragonkin on Hex Lord, without casting insect swarm on it, even once. He makes such a convincing argument.
