Happy Election Day! Regardless of who wins we can all agree the season was a hoot!

I'm going to respectfully disagree. This campaign, as with too many before them, was filled with attack ads and smear campaigns. If you can't get elected on your own merits, then you don't deserve to get elected. Smear ads shouldn't be allowed in campaigns. There are far too many folks that accept anything they see in an e-mail, on the internet, or on TV as gospel; they don't bother researching the facts. The amount of spin and mistruth in the campaign ads is revolting.

I'm going to step off the soapbox and end the rant now.
