By the way, nobody said we *have* to go camping like the barbarians to the East. We could be all civilized with hotel or motel rooms and stuff.

Vegas is always a possible destination for an event like this. Though, I say we push for a Vegas moot next year, and give as many members of the Tribe an opportunity to join in on the fun.

Sorry about the date change, it appears that that's an important weekend for some of our members up North.
FYI, as far as I go, I'm up for Yerts, but I'm also looking into a motel room. For the time we will be there, it doesnt look like the rooms will be horribly expensive. $55-75 a night isnt awful. (Plus, I get a tv, shower, microwave and mini-fridge!)

It isn't a matter of beng a barbarian or not, it's a function of great state of Vermont. They do have running water (stream), electricity (lightning), and indoor plumbing (a roof on the outhouse), but they make it really expensive.

Who here has the money to spend on airfare/bus/car AND a hotel in NYC? We'd be so poor by the time we got there we wouldn't be able to eat. Camping, however, allows us to frolic in the woods, eat yummy food, play with fire, and sleep under the stars.
