Power-leveling Level 1 pets

I captured a Thundertail Flapper on the Isle of Thunder this week, and was messing around with it when I discovered its Beaver Dam ability. The Flapper builds a dam which blocks two attacks (either your own attacks or the opponent's). I've found this to be a perfect shield for power-leveling Level 1 pets on those first critical battles against 25's. Build a dam, swap in the Level 1 behind the dam for one turn, and swap it out. Presto! It survives that critical first battle, gains 4 levels, and is on its way to 25.
