Whoa! I never knew that the Vith was the "F" word.....

How funny, since I played a dark elf wizard named Waltimus on the Saryrn server. Spent 4 years there and never hear the term.

Good to know!

nobody conciders that there is a foul language filter that can make the stuff look like this ^&@$. goes against my character that i play to restrain her words all the time. but i know i will not turn the choice here on the subject so you know when my character is cursing like a hard core drill sargent when you see the gibberish like &#%$ so its up to you to use your imagenation Tongue))

The language filter is there as a backstop. No one is required to have it on and the rules of Blizzard's Terms of Service that every player clicks agreement on in order to play clearly state no cursing of any kind. That this is a rule of Ironsong is also a redundancy but we would rather speak with members about it as a Tribe rule problem than report people who are Tribemates. Don't doubt that GMs can and will act on people reporting for cursing. I've seen it.

Just use fake curses if you want to be like a drill sergeant, anyway.
"Alright, you muck-bellied pieces of maggot filth! Fall in and show me your murloc mammas actually taught you how to stand up straight down there in the foul swamps you crawled out of!"

Something!

'Tae, your sig quote is extra-funny in regards to this subject.
It has been a while, my friends. Time to come back in time.

I actually really enjoy having that sig line on posts when I do moderation tasks. : )

In truth of course in-game chat and private internet forums aren't First Amendment protected speech, lest anyone get the wrong idea from our banter. I know you realize this, naturally.

The sig/mod juxtaposition is only /apparent/ irony, not actual hypocrisy. ; )
