So shall we start putting together some plans since this is only a few weeks away?

Mynos and I are planning to host a dinner one evening, probably the Saturday night, it will be poutine and hamburgers. Smile

Also just wondering how much other foods we need to bring?

Sreng and I are going to be BBQ-ing that afternoon/evening, Cloud. I was also planning to make some snack foods that could be around whenever people wanted to eat (fresh fruit, trail mix, cheese & crackers, etc.). I'm also hoping for a nice brunch on Sunday before people start to leave. Anyway, if you want to bring food or whatever, it's more than welcome. If you want to host something, please send me a PM as I'm sorta head chef for the weekend... or at least head food organizer lady. Smile

As far as plans go... there was talk of a trip to Big Rocks, a nearby swimming hole, so everyone should bring something for the water. Other than that, we're setting up a horseshoe pit and we will have a fire complete with nifty sitting logs, so I expect most of the weekend will be spent chatting, burning stuff, throwing horseshoes, eating, or swimming. Maybe some sleeping.

Whats poutine?

Anyway, there is more than one meal during the day, so if you felt like hosting a non dinner meal, those are open on Saturday.

Hmmm, I may bring stuff to make sushi in the interest of having food that does not... umm... come with a side of angioplasty. Wink

I will happily eat poutine with a side of sushi.

Also, please note my recent post in Member Meeting regarding this event, and send me your info!

I'm definately going to make an effort to come.

Here's an odd proposal though. I live in Philly and was intending to try to work something out with Kretol/Shill/Evie/Ari to drive up. However, I'm also willing to take my life in my own hands and offer myself up as a relief driver to anybody going up who is going to be passing nearby me, simply because I know VT very well as I'm from there and all and likely that'd be very helpful to some of you.

*Shrug* Just throwing it out there. If anyone needs an 'anti-creepy' voucher for me, just ask Sreng :p

Mmmhmm, because Sreng as an anti-creepy voucher person = believable.
;D

I'd still take you up on the offer if I were able to come, though. Wink

Unfortunately Ner, I'll be flying (there's no possible way I'm driving all the way from California) and landing in BTV.
However, if you'd like, I'll see if I can ask the pilot to land on a highway near your house and see if we can pick you up... Wink
