10-man Raiding Proposal, Open Discussion
Efluvious Wrote:So am I correct then that we are gonna try Mahiah's idea? How's this gonna go?

The officers are discussing what we'd like to do now to better organize things and put in some sort of rotation. Figuring out a way to easily organize it is the key. But yes, we like the idea of a periodic "exchange program". The question now will be how often we do it without making it too difficult to remember (ie. the third friday after the first monday of each month).

I would happily support this effort any way I can. I currently have a regular raiding group - but will alter that to assist Tribe raiding efforts.

If you will all forgive me I just recently discovered this post....what is the result of this discussion?

I have always been behind everyone else...I think Kosaths concept is an excellent one for inexperienced members such as myself. I remember I had to wait a long time before I got into Ironsong Raiding...even as a grunt...that never put me down because I understood the procedure of their invites...I really just wanted in to get to know everyone more be involved more...absorb the knowledge so that maybe one day I might use it to help others...never about the loot.

If someone could help me understand what the result of this thread is I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

It's a moot issue at this point, as the two raids that were involved are now defunct. Kosath still runs an IST Karazhan, and has been posting available slots.

For those interested in Karazhan, my advice would be here: http://www.ironsongtribe.com/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=3364

Sorry, I wasn't clear. The result of the thread was that the three regular Kara raids that were going on rotated folks in. Two of those raids are now defunct, with Kosath running the only open-to-whoever IST raid, on Wednesdays/Fridays.

For folks wanting to raid Kara, other than going with Kosath, your only in-guild option is to have someone start a new raid. For ZA, there are no raids doing open-invites, since it's just not feasible given the difficulty of the instance.
