If I am around on fridays (which I'm not a lot of the time) I'd come and help out too. Alternate for me.

Warlocks tank casters a lot in raids actually. Its just like Krosh in Gruuls, cept there its a mage doing the tanking. Warlocks make better tanks than mages in most situations since they can LT to keep mana up and tend to have more health on their gear. Not to mention they have a double threat spell they can spam.

Double threat? Isn't it something ridiculous like 800%? Smile

Plus, every real warlock deep inside wants to be a cloth tank!

It *can* be done by another class, but warlocks are definitely the best for it. I've done it as a paladin after our normal lock tank died, but it's much, much harder.

Normally it is a warlock because of the demonology side of things and, as Elyana mentioned, Searing pain. it isn't 800%, it is just 200%, but it is a spamable ability, whereas things like frostshock and shield slam are on cool downs. It is quick threat, and effective threat. We also don't need as much gear as other classes when spec'd master demonologist and have placed the fel puppy safely away in a corner somewhere. This talent increases all resistances by 70. The 15% stamina first tier demonology talent helps a ton too.

Daichallar,

Prot warrior, Permanant, I'm sure I could get there before pretty much any of the west coasters.

Aarloouoou can go if you want some extra DPS instead of a tank.
