My plan for tonight is Alar and Kael'Thas.

Hopefully, we will have the raid composition to pull off a Kael attempt:
3 tanks
1 or 2 (?) Warlocks
1 Hunter

One of the tanks might need some fire resist.

Awww...I was hoping for a chance at some wings off of Void Reaver. Perhaps some other time, I am looking forward to seeing the Kael'Thas fight.

I can come with Daichallar. Prot spec still, and loving it. Way more dps then my actual dps classes.

Depending on how easy Kael is now, there might still be plenty of time to down Void. The raid boss nerf is...substantial, to say the least.

I was reading up on Kael today, and its an extremely technical fight, alot of "you have to do this or its a wipe" going around the strategies...but I am sure once its in practice it may not be so bad along side the boss/mob nerf.

A lot of the "you must do this or wipe" parts of the fight are contingent on the need to clean up each phase before the next phase begins. What made Kael'thas such an amazing fight was that it required an intense amount of coordination from everyone in the raid, and also required a large amount of DPS to get through the phases, even when people were coordinated perfectly.

The weapons in phase 2 had enough health that you often had to continue killing them even while phase 3 was starting and the tanks were running around madly trying to pick up their adds. I expect that now they'll be dead long before the advisors spawn.
Thaladred killing a person in phase 3 meant there wouldn't be enough DPS to kill all the adds before phase 4. Now a few folks dying isn't going to make a lick of difference.
Someone dying to flame strike in phase 4 meant that the eggs might not die in time before a second phoenix hatched, or Kael's shield wouldn't be taken down before his third pyroblast.

I still think its going to be a fun fight, but there's just a lot more room for error, folks dying, without the threat of wiping the raid every time it happens.
