We will be venturing into Uldir, the laboratory of the titans, where they attempted to understand their ancient enemies: the Old Gods.  It has been sealed off for millennia, but it will soon be opened.  Ready your arms, Ironsong!

((Uldir opens on Tuesday, September 4th!  Officers will lead the first raid into Uldir that evening at 7:30 p.m. with whomever is ready (we are requesting a minimum iLevel of 331), just to check it out.  If you are not ready, that’s totally fine — take your time leveling up and enjoy all the new exploration, leveling, and small group content.  Oryx and I will not be ready ourselves on the 4th, as we have a houseguest all next week and need to balance our playtime with our kids starting the school year.  We are leveling up and will join you as soon as we can!))

As of patch 8.0, we now have communities! These are groups of players that can communicate cross-realm and do not have to be in the same guild or anything! As long as they are the same faction, you can invite just about anyone (think of it as a cross-realm guild chat). I have created an Ironsong Raiders Community for our raiding group. So far, myself, Dentik/Fasar, Krell and Anca are Leaders who can invite. I also have the "Owner" title but I plan to hand this over to Zlinka once we're in full-swing with raiding and groups again.

This is great for us because we have so many non-guild friends who enjoy raiding with us and now we can chat with all in one place. The amount of Leaders will grow too but I suspect this will work like our Officer roles in IST. Hope to see everyone again soon.

With summer upon us, and a new expansion coming up in August, we know a lot of people are looking forward to a break.  So we are planning to relax our progression raiding schedule over the summer.

We propose that those who want to raid for achievements, normal modes, heroic modes, raids from previous expansions etc. show up at the regular raid times, and decide what to do together.  Oryx and I will attend when we can, too.  Remember that there's an "alt raid" on Mondays at 7:30 as well!

If you want to take a break from raiding, now is an excellent time to do so.   If you have been wanting to try a different class or role, this is an excellent time to experiment, too.  We'll all be getting a gear squish in BfA so there's no time like the present.

As usual, we'll start regular raiding again after we've leveled up and geared up in the new expansion.  We'll figure out an exact start date once we get a feeling for how the gearing-up curve goes in the new 5-man heroics and mythics.

For Thursday night, when we are doing progression content, we ask for a 920 iLevel.  For Tuesdays, we will clear the lower Heroic Tomb content, so we can support a few people at lower levels.  Please check with us first.  We will also hit a Greater Argus Invasion every Tuesday, which is a great chance at a big upgrade.

We ask that everyone come properly gemmed and enchanted.  Your guild mates can help you with all of this — just ask.  But don’t leave gems and enchants to the beginning of the raid.  We are only together for 4 hours per week — let’s make every minute count.

The new Argus content has many opportunities for fast upgrades.  The Relinquished items on the Vindicaar are at least level 910 and can proc up to 955, so they are a great option.  You can get the Veiled Argunite for these by doing quests and weeklies in Argus.

We are taking the fight to the enemy, and the fate of Azeroth is in our hands. Prepare to the utmost of your ability, and we shall prevail!
