((heavy plate armor clatters as the blood elf paladin approaches the guild hall. seeing an officer standing near the entrance, he approaches))

Greetings, I am Melegaunt. Paladin of Silvermoon and veteran of the War in the North. I have searched long for a new banner to pledge my sword. I have it on good account the Ironsong Tribe is a strong and noble clan. I wish to join your tribe and fight for the Horde by your side.

I myself have fought many battles. I was there. In the frozen north when Arthas met his fate. Such a terrible fate, but none less than he deserves, I suppose. A small price to pay for the evil he wrought. It was within this war-torn place in history that I found my true calling. I was a simple merchant before the Arthas brought the Scourge to Silvermoon. That was when everything changed. No longer could I simply sell my wares when such atrocities were being done to my people. I took up the banner of the Light and began my long war against evil.

My greatest triumph was bringing about the downfall of that vile creature. The battle of the Icecrown Citadel took months and both the Horde and Alliance lost many good soldiers. I will never forget the moment he fell. The shattering of the rune blade and the retribution of the trapped souls. It was a sight that haunts my dreams to this day.

After we defeated Arthas, I returned to Silvermoon. I tried to live a merchant’s life again, but I found that I could not. The city was not the same. It will never be the same again. I still carry with me the key to open the door to my shop in Silvermoon. It is a small reminder of what life was once like before the war. I have tried to live out my years in peace and quiet, but the Alliance won’t let us do that. They have, once again, brought war to the world of Azeroth. We cannot let this stand unanswered!

((the officer opens a large leather bound book to a marked page and hands Melegaunt a quill. Melegaunt carefully reads the Code of Conduct and adds his name to the long list of other Ironsong Tribe members who have signed before him. Returning the quill to the officer, he adds))
OOC:
*waves* Hi. My name is Scott (Dane on Discord). I’m a RL friend of Krell’s. Thanks for letting me pledge for Ironsong Tribe. I can tell this is a great group of people, and I sincerely hope y’all let me stay.

I have been in several guilds, none of which you have probably heard of. I did start our on an RP server, in a guild called ROLEPLAYERS. Yeah… that was our guild name. We wanted everyone to know that we actually RPed. Though, we didn’t really RP much. They were good folks. That’s where I learned how to play. Mentor taught me about tanking. It was good times. Then I was in a guild called Juicebox Panda Pirates. This is the guild that I raided ICC with. I was off-tank for the B Group. We managed to drop Arthas right before the Cata patch. After that, the guild I was in started to fragment. We had raided so hard in ICC that a lot of us suffered burn-out, and the Cata raids didn’t help either. At that point, the guild changed hands and moved to a PVP server. I didn’t go with them. Finding a new guild is really hard. I tried for a while. Bounced around, but I was not able to find a good home, so I left the game.

I always come back though. I like to get the expansions and play through them. I love the game, and I like to see as much of the content as possible. Up until recently, that stopped at Dungeons. The grind to gear up was something that I couldn’t deal with anymore. MoP and Legion seemed very grindy to me. So, I never went farther than max level. BfA feels very different. When I came back this last time for the Returning Player Weekend, I figured I would just play the expansion and that would be it, but once I got into it, I saw all the changes they’ve made to the grind and how much quicker one could gear up through the WQ system.

Which is what brings me to Ironsong. As I said above, I am RL friends with Krell. We play Pathfinder together. He got my toe in the door here. At first it was just to have a home in game since I wasn’t too serious about it. But now with the changes to the game, I see that one can raid without having to work another job in game (like it was in Wrath days). So, I started to push a little further into the max level content, and that has let me meet some of y’all in Mythic runs and WQs. And I must say that this is a most excellent group of people. Everyone has been very kind and supportive. Helping me gear. Teaching me the dungeons. Tips on the game. Add-on help. Crafting gear for me. Etc. Just really nice community. It’s everything a guild should be.

What I want out of Ironsong is a home. For me, WoW is a completely different game when played solo. I lose interest very quickly if I don’t have a guild to do group content. Otherwise, just play single player games. I love coordinating with people. Being part of a team and helping achieve a goal. Ultimately, I want to raid again, but that is secondary to being in a good guild and having friends when I log into the game.

When I am on is usually as much as possible… lol. I am a remote sales rep, so I work from home and travel. So, if I’m home, I am in-game off and on throughout the day, and usually every night. If I’m traveling, then I’m unavailable. My IT department has my laptop locked down, so I can’t install anything not work related ☹.

Under the category of “anything else to add”: I have also run a guild. Not in WoW… in SW:ToR… so, I know how difficult it can be to keep an online community running peacefully. The fact that Ironsong Tribe has been around (with original leadership) since launch is a testament to the community y’all have built here. That is no easy feat, and something that I would absolutely like to be a part of.

I certainly hope y’all think I am a good fit, and I look forward to the in-game moot.

Thanks for the opportunity.

Xaerynne herself can't post to the forums yet, so she asked me to post this for her:

Xaerynne
I.
My birth name is Xaerynne, but I would not be dishonored if we share ale and you call me Xae. If you call me wench, chick, green skin, D'Orc or others that offend you will suffer my wrath and the bite of my pets.
Know that once I have earned my deed name we can and must renegotiate. If I come to be named Xae' Deathshot or other such, only a select few would then call me as Xaerynne Deathshot. To use my full name calls me to your service, and that must be earned.
Speaking of pets... I am always seeking the best, the most unique and most glorious pet partners. My sire was Frostwolf clan, and from him I have my love of double headed doggs. She who birthed me was a wanderer from the Warsong tribe, and from her I gained my wanderlust and affinity for the four footed cat lords of forest and plains.
I live to explore, to find glory, and always to find a most glorious death. I never know on any day if this will be the one day that I find my final 5 partners to battle tooth to nail beside me and Hati or if it will instead be the day of my one true death. Either way until the one true death I will see each day as a great day to die.. or to find a new pet.
That brings me to my next key motivation in this life of adventure, glory and pain. I live to try all that I can, to see 'what happens when I...', and know that when failure is imminent, it can and will always be glorious with me. If the battle calls for my death, then it will be memorable.
I can not help but explore - will I find the glory of battle, some astounding treasure, the perfect pet (of the moment), or even (most likely) the most glorious and ridonkulous way to die? I find everything to be fun and joyous, but also feel tremendous obligation to those who depend on upon me in my Garrison and have to check on them at least 2x daily for peace of mind.
I am singularly focused - even to my own detriment and amusement, including rushing into things to see 'what could happen', standing in a spell pool while releasing volley after volley towards the enemy, stepping off of a cliff to see 'just how far the fall is'... If this brings death, so be it as long as it was glorious (even gloriously dumb). I have zero sense of direction and at times can not find my way out of my own backpack (joing; sort of...); not the best skill for one travelling the path of the Hunter.
Oh, and if something catches my attention know that I may lose track of whatever I was focused on just before then. Esecially if it is something shiby or a beautiful animal that (possibly) could be tamed. I am obsessed with finding the 'perfect pet' and just have to try and tame ones of the douuble headed and big butted kind. s that are able to be tamed. You will often see me with my favorite pocket battle pet of the moment trailing around.
Clan and rules go hand in hand with honor. Ironsong rules are of honor, and I agree to uphold.

II.

I am recently back in the online RPG gaming community after a LONG, LONG time away. I have never joined another WOW guild, although I have participated with many guilds/families within various other online gaming platforms to date. I RPG'd as a single female back in the day when being a female meant that you were dating a gamer to 'keep an eye on ' him or to 'be a poser'. (I was neither of these.) TSR AD&D, Vampire the Masquerade.... been there, done that. Bought the supplementals.
Ah yes, the good old days when the internet as we know it with the glorious MMORPGS, etc. did not yet exist. When tabletop games were called nerd or geek conventions and were not 'cool', and when online gaming consisted of text based gaming such as via BBS... And before you ask :
· YES, trying to RPG in an entirely text and message based format was HARD.
· YES, I am in LOVE with online graphics.
I was at one time known online 'waaaaay back in the day' as Violyntfemme in bulletin bard gaming, online gaming, etc. and assisted with MMORPG early beta user testing waaaay, waaaay back. While exciting to participate in the process before games were 'open Beta'd', it was fully non-compensated, and the perks did not add joy. Yeah, early access to games way before public announcements of 'open' beta testing, but it kind of felt a bit like 'bootleggery' (LOL). Receiving the disks in brown paper envelope shipments that did not note the game company on the outside, having zero manual/reference material, and the disks themselves arriving in plain unmarked CD sleeves just felt... illicit. PLUS having to write reports detailing try/retry bugs that I found from multiple angles of approach to identify it were from a geo mapping bug, etc. was not fun and generally had to then be repeated when analyzed by game development team. All for the low, low compensation of 'do it faster' so we can fix it before 'open beta'.
I am not into politics or mindgames, and have zero interest in groups that shame bash. I am female, and while the struggle to exist in online gaming was brutal back in the day, it has gotten better - although there is always 'that guy' out to make a point, be a horn dog, prove that you are a dude pretending to be a female, etc.
As gamers we need to remember at times that 'it is just a game' and understand that mistakes can and do happen, and do not mean the end of the world or our lives. Mobile gaming has provided me with a deep view of that - and the toll it takes on members - especially younger or irl socially isolated people.

1. State your name.

Batmurder of the Shatterspear.

2. List your race and class, be it Undead Mage, Orc Hunter etc.

I am troll. I am druid.

3. Please introduce yourself to us, with as much of your personal history as you feel comfortable sharing at this time. Possible topics to touch on: What are your goals or desires? What is your greatest success? Your greatest failure?

Long ago, I was studyin' to be Witch Doctor. Learned many things. In my youth I joined a small gang of trolls and ambushed Alliance settlements in Darkshore. Earned my name during those days. Hated how dey chopped and desecrated my forest home, my friends.

Every day me pray to Loa Hir'reek for strength to protect me home. It was him who led me to Gonk to change my ways and become a druid. Many many years I spent studying with the Circle. Left for battle when Deathwing rent our world. I traveled Azeroth after his fall, repairing the damage.

Now the Dream itself cries out and I return to battle alongside the Horde.

4. Please tell us one or more notable things about you that we can use to start conversations with you (for example: a pet, a physical characteristic, a mannerism, something you carry with you).

Though me name be fierce, I am kind to my friends. I respect all creatures, but bats most of all. They are da children of Hir'reek.

5. Finally, have you read our Code of Conduct, and do you agree to abide by the rules stated in it? If so, please state so here in addition to a reply to the post itself.

Your Code of Conduct shows an honorable guild that respects one another.
I agree to your terms.

II. Yourself

Please fill this section out as yourself. Thank you!

1. What guilds were you in before this one, if any? How long were you a member? Why are you no longer with them?

On this character? Only one. Eats Gnomes, a Horde guild on Shadowmoon. I've been a member there since Wrath. My main, a rogue, is still a member of EG and was previously a member of Rose Thorns for BC and Twilights Call for vanilla. Twilights Call split into two guilds when 40 man raids were canned. Rose Thorns was the less-hardcore guild. They fizzled out after Black Temple, so I moved with friends to Eats Gnomes.

2. What are you looking for from Ironsong?

My IRL friends are here and I'd like to join them in their adventures. I've never tried an RP realm before and I think this will be fun.

3. How long have you played Warcraft?

From beta to Cataclysm then took a break for Mist and Warlords.

4. If you have a preference, when do you tend to play?

Weekends and occasionally after work if I get home before 7pm EST.

5. If you have anything you would like to add to tell us more about yourself, do so here.
I've always played WoW as a "clicker" which i hear is bad. So I'm trying to teach myself to use keybinds more. I'll probably be a lame healer/moonkin during this phase. Be kind.

1. What guilds were you in before this one, if any? How long were you a member? Why are you no longer with them?

Application form from the Blood Elf Warlock known as Garro. It's written in black ink in a swirling, generous cursive elvish script.

My name? Let’s see… well that would be Garro wouldn’t it? Yes that is a pseudonym, and no I shan’t write my real name. Why? Because my chosen profession and the things I’ve done make it necessary for me to protect my family.

As an elf, oh yes we do call ourselves blood elves now, don’t we? Blood elf, I have come to live a great many years upon Azeroth, and living as long as I have has taught me one very important thing: survival is paramount. Survive at any means necessary. This is my in-a-nutshell reason for having delved into the occult and developed an in-depth knowledge of afflictions, demonology, and pyromancy. I am a warlock, simply put.

I wasn’t born into a noble House, but rather as the servant of one. The matriarch of this unnamed House raised me, treated me as one of her own, and had me attend the academy in Silvermoon, where I graduated with high enough marks to earn an apprenticeship in Dalaran. The circumstances of my becoming a warlock are long, and I shan’t waste your time in recounting the events. Was there death and destruction at the hands of the Scourge? Yes of course. Did it spur a young mage to delve into the darkest, most forbidden recesses of the magical spectrum? Certainly.

I served faithfully under Prince Kael’thas, and supported him despite him being a dreadfully weak person. Politically he did what he could for his people. I believe that of him, at least at first. When I think on him now, I can’t say that I blame him completely for the mistakes he did. Demons are powerful, and the Fel is an energy that corrupts absolutely, unless one is able to find a means to continuously purge oneself of its influence. Still to lay all the blame at his feet like some of my compatriots do is asinine… It would be the same as blaming a starving dog for eating a rotten piece of meat that’s dangled before it.

As for my goals? Why that’s quite simple… I wish to live. Yes, warlocks are sanctioned by the horde, as well as by the regent and council, but that doesn’t stop most of us from living with a degree of fear. Any warlock who tells you he’s not afraid of being burned in a pyre is lying to you. Beware the living, the Forsaken say, they don’t know how right they are.

Successes and failures? Now there’s an interesting question. My greatest failure is my inability convince more of my compatriots of the necessity to oppose the convocation. Oh it’s not that I have anything against nobles like Lord Theron, in fact he’s a rather good chap isn’t he? No it’s because of what each of the seven lords represents, and where the dynasty of kings has led us to. The economic and political systems need to change if we’re to have any opportunity to survive, and thrive, in the future. Can anyone argue that we do not live or die at the whim of a few, unelected despots at the top? They sign the treaties, they tell us where to go, where to work, who to kill… when to die.

My greatest success was the practice of soul-whispering. It’s quite fascinating really. Whenever a living being dies there remains a connection between their body and the after-world. With concentration and the power of a soul shard, I can pull on that connection, like setting my fingers upon a spider’s web, and force the spirit of the deceased to speak to me. Unlike what shamans do, that “communing” with the dead thing, my methods are more forceful but they also yield swifter results. To commune with a spirit means trading words with a deathless being and one is subject to obfuscation, evasion, lies. When I soul-whisper, I bring back a being in pain who’s willing to tell me anything I want so long as I release them back to the peace of the grave.

Approach me any time you wish, that’s as much advise as I could give. If you’re desperate for an opening line, however, then I suggest you first understand a number of things about me… I know a few things about a great many topics. I’m arrogant, but not overly haughty or pedantic. I know what I’m good at and I know where my shortcomings lie. I do not consume meat. Does that shock you? I find it repugnant to kill animals except in self-defence or under threat of starvation. Of the things I do that are very me, I enjoy taunting my enemies when it comes to fighting. I laugh, I deride, I threaten them with words that will haunt them if they survive an encounter with me.
I have read the code of conduct and I hereby make my mark, confirming that I both agree and abide by the rules therein.

For the most part, I started as a lowly draftee. Run here, do this, fly over there, whatever, I did it. It wasn't 'til there was something fishy going on in the Silverpine Woods that I decided to become a hired assassin. No longer was I just sent out by any Forsaken superior to do their dirty work, I did some off-the-record stuff for civilians... and I was often paid handsomely for it. Frankly, it wasn't bad at all - I expanded my circles until I became recognized as a Horde ambassador. How lucky was that?
Really though, if you had trouble, you got yer girl right 'ere, daggers and all. I'd gladly give you their head if you asked. Shadowfang Keep, Scarlet Monastery, Stratholme, Deadmines, Karazahn, Auchindoun, and all those other "big name" places, I plundered and looted on my own and with other wary adventurers.
I. Your character

Hey! The name's Vorona, and don't you forget it! Unless I owe you money, in which case, by all means please forget it.

So I used to be a pretty big shot, owned a company, did a bit of training as a rogue on the side. Life was good until the day Deathwing attacked. Next thing I know I'm a copperless goblin on the streets of Orgrimmar! Those were dark times... I decided to further my training as an assassin, and spent most of my time murdering people for money in a drunk stupor. Finally one day I decided to sort my life out, and next thing I know I'm standing at the dark portal to go after Garrosh, who apparently is no longer Warchief, and there's these cool pandas everywhere? Boy am I behind on the times. Anyways, I'm starting anew, have my own garrison on Draenor and everything. Right now I'm making my way through this new world, and eventually my goal is to kill a lot of alliance basically. Hey, I'm easy to please!
One thing to know about me is that I always got a skull in my hair and a bird at my side. Why? I like skulls and birds.

Anyways, that's it for now! Vorona out!

((Goblin rogue. I agree to the code of conduct.))

II. Yourself

Please fill this section out as yourself. Thank you!

1. What guilds were you in before this one, if any? How long were you a member? Why are you no longer with them?
I'm brand new to the server and this is my first guild here.
2. What are you looking for from Ironsong?
Just some nice people to hang out with and have fun!
3. How long have you played Warcraft?
I don't even remember... 8 years maybe? I think I started in TBC.
4. If you have a preference, when do you tend to play?
All over the place, depending on school and work schedules.
5. If you have anything you would like to add to tell us more about yourself, do so here.
I'm Sapph's little sister I mainly play on Sisters of Elune, but I'm having a lot of fun so I'll probably be on this character quite a bit.

Hello friends it is a honor to have this opportunity to join the mighty Irontribe Tribe. My name is Dreogan, a veteran rogue who's also new to the undead. My story starts in Gilneas where I started to make a name for myself for the Alliance. Although I was attacked and left for dead many times by the Horde through my travels, I survived. I survived the torment of the Horde when they overran Hellfire Peninsula when I first arrived to Outland. I survived the frigid snows of Northrend when the Lich King tried to overthrown Azeroth. And I survived the Cataclysm as a proud member of the great and famous guild Requiem and we fought and dominated the Horde in all facets of war. Soon, I started to gain a new title throughout the world, Alphagank. "Alpha" for my experience, standing, command and recognition across Azeroth, and "Gank" from my hardships, trials and tribulations from the past. After the fall of The Destroyer, I took some time off away from the bloodshed to heal wounds of straighten out my life. That's when disaster struck.

Requiem, once great and numerous, was all but decimated. The Horde that was once an afterthought started to outnumber the Alliance 5:1 thanks to the reckless Hellscream. All of this happening when the new land of Pandaria was discovered made the future bleak for me and my comrades. When journeying through this new land, I did so mostly alone. I tried many new guilds to fight alongside with but none held for more than a few weeks and the Horde only grew stronger. However, once I joined my last guild, Talented, things started to look up.

We invaded the Heart of Fear and fought the Klaxxi Queen, swept through the Isle of Thunder and defeated the Thunder King, and finally put that sad excuse of a warchief Garrosh in his place during the Siege. We, the Alliance, were finally growing again and once we were alerted to the encroaching Iron Horde, we were prepared. I was one of the first; I quickly set up my garrison and defeated all challenges the Warlords tried to throw at me. I was on top of the world and no one could stop me! But then it happened.

At the height of my success, I was blindsided by Gul'dan in Gorgrond. To think I, a rogue, would be ambushed by a warlock. Instead of killing me outright he used me for an experiment where I wished he would finish me then and there. Finally, death came over me and all I could see was darkness. Sometime later I miraculously awoke to a group of Horde members staring at me. I start to look around my body to see that I was turned into a Undead. The leader of the group Moregil asked me who I was and warned that depending on my answer, I would be destroyed. But his undead companion figured out from my Stormwind tabard I was an Alliance fighter, or once was one. They took me to see Sylvanas to determine what to do with such an mysterious undead as I and her answer surprised me. "Let him live." Her reasoning for this flew over all our heads and she smirked saying, "I remember seeing you long ago in Gilneas. You were a most intriguing specimen. You rebelled against me and despite all odds you are still alive today. I always wanted you as a servant and I thought the chances of having you were lost. Tell me, how did such a worgen like yourself become Undead." Yes, I was once a worgen. The Undead curse was to never afflict me but here I am. With everything I told them there were now 2 choices: join or die. Though I now stand as one of the things I've fought for so long against, my new target is the one that did this to me: Gul'dan. Well, they do say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I will cast away my past monikers and titles, and adopt a new one as Dreogan. One that suffers, for suffering is all that I've known. With a new goal in hand thanks to the Destroyer of Dreams and an invitation to the Ironsong Tribe by Moregil the decision is clear.
Hi there, I'm Dreogan. I was a Worgen rogue when I was part of the guild Requiem back on Kil'jaeden throughout Cata and was part of the guild Talented for MoP and the start of WoD. When I took a break from WoW during MoP, Requiem left the server and removed the guild. I joined Talented near the end of MoP, but with IRL stuff I couldn't raid with them when I wanted so here I am now.
I came to this guild because it sounds like a great place to do some raiding and fellowshipping. One of the members, Moregil, is a good friend of mine that told me about Ironsong.
I've been playing WoW since near the end of BC.
I have the most time to play on Thrus. and Fri., but I can do stuff after 10pm CST Sat.-Mon. and 12am CST Tues. and Wed.
I'm a relaxed individual that likes jokes and I'm a very well-mannered person. I like to help people that need it and will do my best in anything that I try.

I use my brain as well as my muscle to solve problems, and tolerate no foolishness. Though I have fought many a battle, the great conflicts of my life have passed me by. I was not witness to the fall of Stormrage, of Arthas, or of the great dragon Deathwing, I know nothing of Pandaria as I was occupied in Azeroth on a matter of honor at the time but, now, in Draenor of old I will finally reach glory!

Heya heya! Welcome to Tea Moon, the finest franchised purveyor of heated beverages, now available on multiple continents, worlds, and timelines. Sit back, have a drink, enjoy yourself as long as you'd like, and pay the very reasonable rental fee for usage of the seat on your way out. Hmm, you're right, it is a bit of a slow day. I guess I could join you for a drink or two.

So what's on your mind? Oh, you want to know about me, do ya? Well, I happen to be Tea Moon. Yes, same as the shop. It is a rather funny name for a Goblin, I suppose, when everyone expects "Fizz-banger" or "Whistle-blaster" or "Sam o'Phlange" or the like, but I say it's the most Goblin of names you'll ever hear. See, my parents founded the first Tea Moon years and years ago, before the first Horde came through the Portal, trying to break into some untapped markets amongst the Elves. I mean, seriously, what a great market, if you could get in, right?

So they negotiated their way into Elven lands, made some deals, and decided they needed a base of operations on the inside to get things really moving. Clearly shredders and explosions weren't going to sell there, but tea... there's all sorts of teas, from all sorts of plants all over the world, and they all taste different. Elves clearly loved it -- they're all about that nature stuff infusing everything, and drinking with little dainty cups and all. Anyway "how hard can shoving plants into boiling water be?" they thought, so they opened up the shop, pushed on a few contacts in the trade empire for some exotic leaves, and they did ok, and more than ok since they also acted as brokers in addition to the tea shop.

Hmm? Yeah, sure, there was a bad period during the Second War when some of the Goblins signed an exclusive contract, which is just a terrible business practice, but they went and did it anyway, and despite being with a completely different group, we weren't well regarded by the members of the Alliance that came through. The outsiders coming through got over it, and my parents had some loyal customers that kept them safe. When I was born, they figured a Goblin name would have the other kids teasing me -- well, teasing me more than they already would, since we weren't exactly in an enclave of Goblinity -- and then it came to them. The perfect idea, the best thing they could get from a name -- free-advertising. Every time they called my name, or someone else called my name, they'd be advertising for the shop. Brilliant, really. So there you have it, most Goblin name ever - a walking and talking ad.

It worked better than they expected. Growing up with the high elves, you can't help but pick up some magic. Heck, before Arthas walked through, the place fairly oozed the stuff, all the way out to the borders you could just feel the pulse of the Sunwell. With all that infusing me, and all the examples all around, magic came naturally to me, and was pretty handy as a trick to heat up a pot just right when needed. Grew up to it, trained, and even after the Scourge marched through I could still cast some mean spells. The small shop was flourishing, but it wasn't, if you'll pardon the expression, my cup of tea. Not then, anyway. I wanted to go establish myself, not just inherit what they'd done. So I went off to be a mage and help tackle the big monsters out in the world... but while I was at it, I missed a it of the shop life, so I started expanding. Made it a brand name, established outposts, founded franchise locations.

Whether you're in Stormwind or Silvermoon, Orgrimmar or Outlands, Dalaran or Draenor... Tea Moon is there, in both senses. First me, helping tame the wild lands, and then the shop, a little comforting slice of home for all the troops, the heroes, the support and supply lines. And naturally when those fine people went back home, well, their little towns needed a shop, too. Not to mention these exciting locales all had new and interesting blends to start brewing. So here I am, out on the forefront, exploring new realms and looking to establish new locations... like right here, in your Tribe's newly founded garrison. It's not like anyone was using this spot anyway, right?

Yeah, yeah, I saw your code of conduct on the way in. I solemnly swear on my past and future trade contracts that I will adhere to your terms and conditions as set therein. So, am I in business here, or should I pack this all back up?

---

1. What guilds were you in before this one, if any? How long were you a member? Why are you no longer with them?
As a player, I was previously in several guilds, as I've been around since Classic on Silver Hand. Notable ones are Bound By Hatred, Phycodurus, and Handle-It, along with some alts scattered about in allied guilds of the Handle-It raid, like Sanctuary of the Errant, Broken Shadow, and... uh... some other guys. I honestly can't remember names now. Teamoon, as a character, has only ever been in Handle-It.

2. What are you looking for from Ironsong?
From Ironsong, I'm looking for a fun group to do fun things. Even without joining, Xoiiku (who I knew from Handle-It days) told us to join the OOC channel, so I already had a good chunk of that as you kindly allowed us to tag along in your raids, and we (Tundra/Sozin, Illianarra, and I) were looking to possibly try some Challenge Modes and such with members as well. So, while I could join in on that from the outside, since you guys are awesome and welcoming, it seemed like a better fit to join in directly as Handle-It itself was a little dead, and the game is a lot more fun with some awesome people to share it.

In addition, while I've always had some back story for every one of my characters (even this guy, which was a play on my Druid's nickname shortening Tempestmoon to T'moon, and my Undead Rogue named Zulhoof, which is totally plausible and makes perfect sense, I swear) and have done some minor RP stuff on my own, I haven't ever gotten into it much in game. While I could maybe go looking for a more raid-oriented group, I've always had a lot of respect for IST members, and our recent runs have cemented that perception of awesomeness for me. I've never had a bad experience with anyone from IST I grouped with, and whenever anyone asked about RP on the server (what with it being labelled as such and all, even if half the original players here had no idea what that meant at the time), I always pointed them your way. I took a break for most of Pandaria (since Handle-It had crumbled after finishing Dragon Soul and at the time I didn't feel like searching for a new guild -- and I had a lot of other stuff going on anyway), and coming back I thought this was a good time to try putting some more RP flavor in to my game time.

3. How long have you played Warcraft?
As noted, I've been playing since Classic. I raided MC, BWL, and AQ40 with Asylum (a multi-guild raiding coalition -- I only remember Bound By Hatred and Bloodbound in there, but I know there were other guilds as part of it), and then joined up with Handle-It before it picked up that name. Originally it was "Broken Shadow and Friends", IIRC. It was interesting to clear through TBC well after the first groups and end up racing for server firsts in Sunwell, and even taking a few in WotLK. Beyond raiding, I've enjoyed exploring and questing -- I had Lore-Master almost as soon as the achievements were added, since I'd already done most of the quests, and during Classic I enjoyed running "Tempestmoon Tours" through some of the more rambling dungeons, like BRD and BRS.

4. If you have a preference, when do you tend to play?
I usually play evenings (~7 Server or later) and weekends. Recently I did some morning play sessions, but that's not terribly common.

5. If you have anything you would like to add to tell us more about yourself, do so here.
Hopefully the above captured enough of the essence of your questions while also being fun to read... Teamoon is, granted, a bit of a colorful character, but what did you expect from a Goblin? While I had a decent chunk of the background above already in mind, I didn't have a personality as such in mind until I hopped into guild chat that first time, said the first thing that seemed appropriate, and I just ran with it. I've done a decent amount of Pen-and-Paper RP (actual role playing, not just war-gaming with some story on top), so I'm used to rolling with events. Feel free to use him as background decoration for other story lines as makes sense, and in general if you make something up for me and it fits, I'll run with it. I don't need to be the hero, I'm perfectly fine enabling other people in their stories.
