Hey all! I know we have a large Northwestern US presence in Ironsong, and I just applied for a Park Ranger job around Rufus, Oregon. Was wondering if anyone in the Tribe knows the area/is around there? I'd love to know what I might be in for.
Rufus, Oregon is roughly 100 miles East of Portland, out the beautiful Columbia Gorge. Don't think I have ever actually stopped in Rufus, but I've driven by it on I-84. Small town.
It only has 243 people in it according to Wikipedia. Yet, it's referred to as a city. I think there's some confusion there. I'm kinda excited, and kinda wondering if I'm about to be in a weird TV show.
