I have recently begun Field Duty assignments for the Cenarion Circle down in Silithus. These assignments are rather difficult to keep track of, so I figured I'd create this scroll to reveal how one might go about doing these quests, as well as keeping track of them.
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>A Beginning:</u></font>
First, you must report the the Kaldorei Windcaller Kaldon. He will give some <a href=""><font color="ffffff">Unsigned Field Duty Papers</font></a> and instructions to get them signed by a Krug Skullsplit at the Horde basecamp near Hive'Regal.
Mount up and head over to the Ogrimmar Legion camp. The papers need a bit of preperation on your part, just remember that before you hand them over to Krug to fill out. Krug wants you to assist him in some work before he will sign them though. Specifically, the work of killing a titanic Silithid insect. This beast has been deemed the Hive'Regal Hunter-Killer. Krug's team is just barely a match for the creature, but he will require your aide to keep him alive so he can sign the papers. I would recommend that you bring a healer along to keep Krug buffed and healed. Other wise, feel free to assist in taking out the Hunter-Killer. Be warned, this beast can and will charge you for a pretty vicious amount of damage (( <i>about 1000 hp and a stun</i> )).
If you and Krug survive this, head over to him and speak with him. Show him your <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=23024"><font color="ffffff">Prepared Field Duty Papers</font></a>. He will hand you back <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20810"><font color="ffffff">Signed Field Duty Papers</font></a>. Congratulations! This is the first small step to getting things done around here.
(( <i>Note: Krug can die, and come back to life to give you the signing. If the other two leaders--the Tauren Shaman and the Troll Shadow Priestess--die as well, then you will not be able to get the papers signed. This will only happen if there is no intervention on your part.
Also, any buffing or healing of the three leaders will result in you being flagged for PvP. Most Alliance know this and leave you alone as they too get flagged. But be warned, there are jerks out there.</i> ))
Head back to the Cenarion Hold, and speak with Windcallmer Kaldron again. Seeing your signed papers he will give you one of three envelopes. You can choose a <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20808"><font color="ffffff">Combat Assignment</font></a>, <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21132"><font color="ffffff">Logistics Assignment</font></a>, or a <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20809"><font color="ffffff">Tactical Assignment</font></a>. Each of these will hold an assignment within. Open them to recieve the assignment in your inventory, I would recommend keeping the combat briefings within their dossier until you are ready to use them, as they will take up four inventory spots.
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>Combat Assignments:</u></font>
If you choose a combat assignment, then you will recieve one of three choices upon opening the envelope. These assignments are the most labor intensive of the three choices and come in complete dossiers, one for each hive. These detail the species you will find in each hive and those which you must hunt.
Some of you will be lucky, and able to hunt these massive insects on your own. Others might need assistance, which is always a better way to spend the time. I would suggest that you keep doing Field Duty until you and your hunting partner(s) get the same Dossier. This will make it easier on the both of you, and more enjoyable all around as you will be killing <i>thirty</i> of each species requested.

These quests should also be done with certain tactical quests, as they have you venturing into the three hives as well. You shall learn of these in the section detailing them.
If you complete these quests you will be granted 1 <A href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20802"><font color="00ff00">Cenarion Combat Badge</font></a> (( <i>and 50 reputaion points with the Cenarion Circle</i> )) per each resolved task. Congratulations should be in order, these are not easy to acquire!
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>Logistics Assignments:</u></font>
These typically involve you acquiring goods and supplies needed for the front lines. Do note, some of these are only avaliable as follow up logistic quests. Meaning that you can't get some of them through the Field Duty quest, only as a follow up for finishing a logistics quest. I will point these out.
One of these quests is also a special quest with a different reward, and I will detail it when we get to it.

The desert is a harsh environment. Not all the recruits can manage themselves in such extremes. This task has you collecting 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7079"><font color="ffffff">Globes of Water</font></a>, 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=19440"><font color="ffffff">Powerful Anti-Venoms</font></a>, and 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20452"><font color="ffffff">Smoked Desert Dumplings</font></a>. Once you have collected these items, bring them to Calandrath, the Kaldorei Innkeeper in Cenarion Hold.
If you do not know how to make Smoked Desert Dumplings, she will teach you how (( <i>through a quest series, you will need 300 cooking</i> )). I believe the Argent Dawn (( <i>at Honored reputation</i> )) will sell you the recipe to make the anti-venom for nine gold coins. The globes of water are best found in most clean water elementals.

The mounted division of Cenarion Hold is running low on boots. Bring 3 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7936"><font color="00ff00">Ornate Mithril Boots</font></a> to the <Captain> Vish Kosuz. You will find this Kaldorei high atop the main tower.
Find an armorsmith who knows how to make them, see if you can get a discount... Or even bring the materials needed.

The <Captain> also feels his regiments are low on grinding stones. You shall be bringing him 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12644"><font color="ffffff">Dense Griding Stones</font></a>, 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7966"><font color="ffffff">Solid Grinding Stones</font></a>, and 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=3486"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Grindings Stones</font></a>.
Any Blacksmith should be able to make these for you.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21258"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing IV</font></a> (The Orgimmar Legion Needs Mojo!)
Shai, the troll shadow priestess at the Orgimmar Legion base camp, has put in an odd request. But the Cenarion Circle felt they should comply, and charge you with the task of gathering 6 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12804"><font color="ffffff">Powerful Mojo</font></a>, 6<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8152"><font color="ffffff">Flasks of Big Mojo</font></a>, and 8 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8956"><font color="ffffff">Oils of Immolation</font></a>. I assume this is to appease her troll axethrowers.
The mojo, as usual, is found on various trolls. The Oils can be made by Alchemists, find one to make them for you.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21259"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing V</font></a> (Scrying Materials)
The shifting sands of Silithus have drawn the attention of many races. There is an Ironforge dwarv-woman who studies the rocks in the area, and their magical properties. Geologist Larksbane seeks 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14344"><font color="0068ff">Large Brilliant Shard</font></a>, 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=11178"><font color="0068ff">Large Radiant Shard</font></a> and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12364"><font color="00ff00">Huge Emerald</font></a>.
You may need to speak with an Enchanter who has most of these rare gems. The emerald will be found in viens and pockets, speak to your fellow Miners and Rogues specifically.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21261"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing VI</font></a> (Arms for the Field)
The Tauren Shaman, Merok Longstride has requested more armament in the field. I imagine the blades run dull hacking at bug carapaces all day... You are to bring him 3 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=3855"><font color="00ff00">Massive Iron Axes</font></a> to him.
I would recommend finding an Weaponsmith to make these for you.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21264"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing VII</font></a> (Armor Kits for the Field)
Merok Longstride also seeks armor kits to repair dented and ripped gear while out in the field. Bring him 8 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=15564"><font color="ffffff">Rugged Armor Kits</font></a> and 8 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=4265"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Armor Kits</font></a>.
Both of these can be made by Leatherworkers.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21384"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing VIII</font></a> (Uniform Supplies :<i>followup</i>:)
So many have volunteered to duty, that the Cenarion Hold has run low on uniforms. Windcaller Proudhorn is an impressive Tauren healer who is also skilled in tailoring. Bring her 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14342"><font color="ffffff">Mooncloth</font></a>, 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14048"><font color="ffffff">Bolts of Runecloth</font></a>, and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14227"><font color="ffffff">Ironweb Spider's Silk</font></a>.
Tailors can craft the first two items, while hunting most spiders will "net" you the latter. Ahh hah hah, I couldn't resist!

Vargus is a talented Tauren Crafter. In fact it is he who will create most of items and weapons you shall recieve at the end of this long journey. But Silithus is far from civilization, and it's increasingly harder to get fine materials. Procure for Vargus 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12810"><font color="00ff00">Enchanted Leather</font></a> and 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12655"><font color="00ff00">Enchanted Thorium</font></a>
A Miner and Skinner are required to get the base items which can be enchanted by an Enchanter.
<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21385"><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing X</font></a> (Bandages for the Field)
This is quite possibly the easiest Logistics Task as it's dependant on a Tradeskill everyone can acquire. Windcaller Proudhorn requests bandages of all shapes and sizes to aid the injured. This quest will have you allocating and delivering 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14530"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Runecloth Bandages</font></a>, 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8545"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Mageweave Bandages</font></a> and 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=6451"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Silk Bandages</font></a>.
Up to this point, all the Logistics Tasks will reward you with 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20800"><font color="00ff00">Cenarion Logistics Badge</font></a> (( <i>as well as 50 Cenarion Circle reputation points</i> )) per each finished quest. Congratulations, here as well. These take quite the effort to find all the resources asked for. I'm certain we as a Tribe can help each other out in helping the Cenarion Circle!
But this is not the last of the tasks needing your effort.
<a href=""><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing XI</font></a> (The Ultimate Deception :<i>followup</i>: :<font color="007799">special result</font>:)
This is the ultimate of the Logistics Tasks, and requires some impressive agents. The Twilight's Hammer is known to speak with beings on the elemental plane. And while most of their actions are carried out in this world, their processes are thought to occur elsewhere.
The Cenarion Circle belives there is a way to channel direct communication through the Windstones. Aurel Goldleaf is a Kaldorei skilled in manipulating items to trick and fool the Twilight's Hammer. She thinks she can recreate an Emissary's Robe in order to learn more the the cutl's secrets.
She needs you to gather the following: 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12753"><font color="00ff00">Skin of Shadow</font></a>, 3 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12735"><font color="00ff00">Frayed Abomination Stichings</font></a>, and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20407"><font color="00ff00">Twilight Cultist's Robe</font></a>.
The robe will be found on any of the cultists members around Silithus. The skin of shadow will be found within the Scholomance. And the frayed stichings come from abominations in the ruined city of Stratholme.
Completing this quest will get you the <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21515"><font color="00ff00">Mark of Remulos</font></a> (( <i>as well as 100 reputaion</i> )) which is needed for the Stalwart's Battlegear.
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>Tactical Assignments:</u></font>
The tactical tasks are possibly the easiest to complete. Some may need or require assistance, but they are generally far quicker to complete than the Combat and Logistic quests. These can be completed alongside other quests in Silithus to maximize your time spent working on them. Great Shan'do Fleethoof mentioned that you might wish to work on some tactical quests while hunting the templars. I also mentioned that you might wish to do some tactical quests while hunting within the hive. This detailed list whill show you what you the quests so you can prepare yourself for multitasking.
As with the Logistics Tasks, there is one assignment here that differs in rewards from the others. I, again, will point it out to you as I come across it.

You must summon and kill the Duke of Cynders, the Duke of Fathoms, the Duke of Zephyrs and the Duke of Shards. In order to ensure you acquire the proper summons you will want a Signet of Beckoning: <Element> as per the type you seek. Your party can not be a raid to complete this quest.
If you complete this you will recieve a <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21508"><font color="00ff00">Mark of Cenarius</font></a> (( <i>as well as 100 reputaion</i> )) which can be turned in for your Champion's Battlegear.

There are battle orders being distributed between the Twilight Camps. Find and destroy the Twilight Prophet and her heavy guard. Obtain the battle orders and return to Cenarion Hold. (( <i>A bit tricky, as the prophet drops many Encripted Twilight Texts, and is therefore farmed.</i> ))
Though these tasks are a bit easier, they still present a challenge. If you have completed these then hoorah for you! You have now earned 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20801"><font color="00ff00">Cenarion Tactical Badge</font></a> (( <i>as well as 50 Cenarion Circle Reputation</i> )) per finished quest.

These quests should also be done with certain tactical quests, as they have you venturing into the three hives as well. You shall learn of these in the section detailing them.
If you complete these quests you will be granted 1 <A href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20802"><font color="00ff00">Cenarion Combat Badge</font></a> (( <i>and 50 reputaion points with the Cenarion Circle</i> )) per each resolved task. Congratulations should be in order, these are not easy to acquire!
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>Logistics Assignments:</u></font>
These typically involve you acquiring goods and supplies needed for the front lines. Do note, some of these are only avaliable as follow up logistic quests. Meaning that you can't get some of them through the Field Duty quest, only as a follow up for finishing a logistics quest. I will point these out.
One of these quests is also a special quest with a different reward, and I will detail it when we get to it.

The desert is a harsh environment. Not all the recruits can manage themselves in such extremes. This task has you collecting 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7079"><font color="ffffff">Globes of Water</font></a>, 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=19440"><font color="ffffff">Powerful Anti-Venoms</font></a>, and 4 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20452"><font color="ffffff">Smoked Desert Dumplings</font></a>. Once you have collected these items, bring them to Calandrath, the Kaldorei Innkeeper in Cenarion Hold.
If you do not know how to make Smoked Desert Dumplings, she will teach you how (( <i>through a quest series, you will need 300 cooking</i> )). I believe the Argent Dawn (( <i>at Honored reputation</i> )) will sell you the recipe to make the anti-venom for nine gold coins. The globes of water are best found in most clean water elementals.

The mounted division of Cenarion Hold is running low on boots. Bring 3 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7936"><font color="00ff00">Ornate Mithril Boots</font></a> to the <Captain> Vish Kosuz. You will find this Kaldorei high atop the main tower.
Find an armorsmith who knows how to make them, see if you can get a discount... Or even bring the materials needed.

You shall be bringing him 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12644"><font color="ffffff">Dense Griding Stones</font></a>, 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=7966"><font color="ffffff">Solid Grinding Stones</font></a>, and 10 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=3486"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Grindings Stones</font></a>.
Any Blacksmith should be able to make these for you.

Shai, the troll shadow priestess at the Orgimmar Legion base camp, has put in an odd request. But the Cenarion Circle felt they should comply, and charge you with the task of gathering 6 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12804"><font color="ffffff">Powerful Mojo</font></a>, 6<a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8152"><font color="ffffff">Flasks of Big Mojo</font></a>, and 8 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8956"><font color="ffffff">Oils of Immolation</font></a>. I assume this is to appease her troll axethrowers.
The mojo, as usual, is found on various trolls. The Oils can be made by Alchemists, find one to make them for you.

The shifting sands of Silithus have drawn the attention of many races. There is an Ironforge dwarv-woman who studies the rocks in the area, and their magical properties. Geologist Larksbane seeks 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14344"><font color="0068ff">Large Brilliant Shard</font></a>, 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=11178"><font color="0068ff">Large Radiant Shard</font></a> and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12364"><font color="00ff00">Huge Emerald</font></a>.
You may need to speak with an Enchanter who has most of these rare gems. The emerald will be found in viens and pockets, speak to your fellow Miners and Rogues specifically.

So many have volunteered to duty, that the Cenarion Hold has run low on uniforms. Windcaller Proudhorn is an impressive Tauren healer who is also skilled in tailoring. Bring her 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14342"><font color="ffffff">Mooncloth</font></a>, 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14048"><font color="ffffff">Bolts of Runecloth</font></a>, and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14227"><font color="ffffff">Ironweb Spider's Silk</font></a>.
Tailors can craft the first two items, while hunting most spiders will "net" you the latter. Ahh hah hah, I couldn't resist!

Procure for Vargus 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12810"><font color="00ff00">Enchanted Leather</font></a> and 2 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12655"><font color="00ff00">Enchanted Thorium</font></a>
A Miner and Skinner are required to get the base items which can be enchanted by an Enchanter.

This is quite possibly the easiest Logistics Task as it's dependant on a Tradeskill everyone can acquire. Windcaller Proudhorn requests bandages of all shapes and sizes to aid the injured. This quest will have you allocating and delivering 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=14530"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Runecloth Bandages</font></a>, 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=8545"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Mageweave Bandages</font></a> and 30 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=6451"><font color="ffffff">Heavy Silk Bandages</font></a>.
Up to this point, all the Logistics Tasks will reward you with 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20800"><font color="00ff00">Cenarion Logistics Badge</font></a> (( <i>as well as 50 Cenarion Circle reputation points</i> )) per each finished quest. Congratulations, here as well. These take quite the effort to find all the resources asked for. I'm certain we as a Tribe can help each other out in helping the Cenarion Circle!
But this is not the last of the tasks needing your effort.
<a href=""><font color="00ff00">Logistics Task Briefing XI</font></a> (The Ultimate Deception :<i>followup</i>: :<font color="007799">special result</font>:)
This is the ultimate of the Logistics Tasks, and requires some impressive agents. The Twilight's Hammer is known to speak with beings on the elemental plane. And while most of their actions are carried out in this world, their processes are thought to occur elsewhere.
The Cenarion Circle belives there is a way to channel direct communication through the Windstones. Aurel Goldleaf is a Kaldorei skilled in manipulating items to trick and fool the Twilight's Hammer. She thinks she can recreate an Emissary's Robe in order to learn more the the cutl's secrets.
She needs you to gather the following: 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12753"><font color="00ff00">Skin of Shadow</font></a>, 3 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=12735"><font color="00ff00">Frayed Abomination Stichings</font></a>, and 1 <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=20407"><font color="00ff00">Twilight Cultist's Robe</font></a>.
The robe will be found on any of the cultists members around Silithus. The skin of shadow will be found within the Scholomance. And the frayed stichings come from abominations in the ruined city of Stratholme.
Completing this quest will get you the <a href="http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=21515"><font color="00ff00">Mark of Remulos</font></a> (( <i>as well as 100 reputaion</i> )) which is needed for the Stalwart's Battlegear.
<font color="007799" size="3"><u>Tactical Assignments:</u></font>
The tactical tasks are possibly the easiest to complete. Some may need or require assistance, but they are generally far quicker to complete than the Combat and Logistic quests. These can be completed alongside other quests in Silithus to maximize your time spent working on them. Great Shan'do Fleethoof mentioned that you might wish to work on some tactical quests while hunting the templars. I also mentioned that you might wish to do some tactical quests while hunting within the hive. This detailed list whill show you what you the quests so you can prepare yourself for multitasking.
As with the Logistics Tasks, there is one assignment here that differs in rewards from the others. I, again, will point it out to you as I come across it.
