Even if we wanted to, there's no way to transfer the whole tribe off Silver Hand using the free char. transfers. Some folks are on hiatus and wouldn't be able to take advantage of it in time. Even for those currently playing, Blizzard could cut off the transfers at any moment, leaving half of us on the new server and half still on Silver Hand!

If there *is* a realm split, it looks like it will be relatively easy to make sure all of Ironsong moves as one. Meanwhile, have no doubt, we're staying put!

IMajra's transferring.

Magrash is staying in the Tribe, and Acacius my Paladin in Blood Bourne is staying as well. I give them both a lot of time, so I'm not really going anywhere. But, Majra's going to go scout it out and see how it looks.

So, it's not a goodbye, just an FYI. Smile
I'm not going anywhere, personally. Silver Hand is my home, and has been since the very beginning of time on Azeroth.

The only thing that will change that is the forced server split, but in that instance I'm going where ever Ironsong is going.

Sad

Rotten Luck. Rival. Raven Dreams. Dead Tree Cult. Insufficient Light. Trinklets.

God. Who's going to be left besides us?

This entire thing makes me unreasonably upset.

Well if there is a forced server split, I think Ironsong should seriously consider going for it and heading over there.

A split like the one they've described in the WoW forums.
Fleet outlined the reasons we won't be going anywhere very well. And with the current trend, I honestly wouldn't be overly concerned with a server split. I will post more on this elsewhere.
Mamadee Wrote:*bows ta da Elders o'da Tribe

My time wit ya may be short. Relic is considering migrating ta da new land o'Scryers. Ifin dey do, den I will follow my daughter Mabri der. While it will break me heart ta leave I must follow me own flesh an' blood. Rotten Luck is discussin' da same issue an' I dunna know what der decision will be. Ifin dey go I will stay ifin Relic stays. If dey go and Relic goes, I will follow.

I know da Tribe will be discussin' dis same issue at length. But bear dis in mind, ifin not enough people migrate, da Blizzard Gods have stated dey will be forced ta rend our world apart. Silver Hand will be no more. Dey will make us chose between two new worlds, neither Silver Hand. It not be a matter o'stayin' or leavin' at dat point. Everyone will have ta leave, it will just be a matter of ya makin' a choice and prayin' dat da Gods will honor it which dey have NOT guaranteed ta do. In fact, dey put it in writin' dat dey dunna guarantee it.

It makes me cry on da inside and out ta have dis sword hangin' over our heads. I can promise ya dis. Ifin I have ta travel ta a far off land, I willna just disappear. I will let ya know me fate here.

*bows again ta all her second family,
Mamadee

Awww, Mamadee, let us know what is decdied please. You will be missed, but it is understandable why you choose the way you do.
Phew, dis been one busy week fer dis ol'woman. Me head be spinnin'. Can someone fetch me a rum sos I can catch me breath an' tell what be happenin'? *plops down on her pack an' wipes her sweaty brow.

Awww, dat be ba good rum. I tank ya.

Well, we was frettin' all weekend ifin we was goin' or ifin we was stayin'. We decided ta stay put because we gots lots o'member dat been away from home fer a while dat we expected back when da Outlands opened dat na come home yet. So we didna wants ta leave des people hangin' so ta speak. We also feel like Silver Hand were our home an' full o'people we didna want ta leave behind. I already told ya dat I was stayin' because o'me wee Mabri. I be goin' where me blood goes.

Well, Sunday night, dat Zulsori an' his lovely bride Zabia says dey gots ta leave Silver Hand. Miss Zabia be goin' ta school an' by da time she comes home she canna get through da ques ta visit Azeroth beforin' it be bed time. Dat were na da only reason but dat be da biggest one. Several other o'da Canadian comrades decided dat dey would stick wit Zulsori an' Zabia. So, dat put da picture in a whole new light seein' Zulsori bein' an officer an' all and everyone lovin' our Canadians ta death.

Da Shadow Mistress Maladie, she puts up a poll fer da members ta vote. She stayed in da guild hall all night listenin' ta da members debate da move. Meanwhile, Arch Mage Yyssipants be loadin' a wagon in da snow, movin' everyting he owns because he be movin' far far away ta a land called Montana. He be running back an' forth from dat wagon ta da guild hall checkin' on da debate an' da poll results. Bless his heart! Well, after several hours da officers dat was remainin' decided da best ting fer da guild was ta go wit da Canadians ta da Scryers. It were a gut wrenchin' decision but one dey truly feel was best fer da Rottens an' reflected da outcome o'da poll da best.

Well, as I be sayin' before, I canna follow dem. *cries hysterically

So, I be sayin' I be missin' dem but I was stayin' on Silver Hand because it be what I must do. I sent me wee Tevye ta be wit da Rottens on da Scryers so da spirits will be tellin' me messages from him about da Rottens der from time ta time. Well, since I was stayin' put, da Shadow Mistress asked me ta step in as Guild Leader. Ya coulda knocked me over wit a feather. After I picked meself up offa da floor I said I would be proud ta keep Rotten Luck one o'da oldest guilds on Silver Hand.

Some Rottens stayed wit me. Some did like me an' sent a clan member ta be on da Scryers. Some o'dem dat sent der clan leaders ta da Scryers, left clan members wit me. We be having a guild meeting dis weekend ta re-ballast our ship an' figure out whats we gunna do. Da only given is dat Rotten Luck will continue, one way or da other.

Over da next several weeks we may be faced wit another storm ifin da Blizzard gods be unhappy wit what be left on Silver Hand. I knows da Tribe figured high up in peoples decision to stay because o'our strong love fer each other, Rottens an' Tribe. I wants ta make sure ya be keepin' in touch wit me ta let me know which world ya be leaning towards should ours be torn apart. I dunna tink dat decision be one of stay or go, since da Blizzard gods already told us dat ifin it comes down ta dat, two new worlds will be born and Silver Hand will die. *cries hysterically again....

*drains da rest o'da rum an' jumps up. Well, as ya can see, I gots me hands full wit des kittens in a tinsle factory so I must be off. Ifin ya needs me, just hollar. I be tryin' ta check in wit ya when I can.

*Hugs ta da Tribe,
Mamadee
Mamadee, I am glad you are staying! And that you have some of the Rottens with you still. As far as I know, The Tribe stays on Silverhand. If it should come to pass that the Blizzard gods tear us from here, we will send word

*hugs*

I believe the server split system is a specific thing.

Basically works like this as written in the general wow official forum.

If your server is split they look at it on a by guild basis. If a member of the guild is on the split list than all of the guild is. What will happen by default is that if you do not choose which of the two servers it will split too it will default to the guild leaders choice.

Essentially meaning that all the inactive members will automatically go where Shillitae chooses, if it were to happen that is.

Everyone gets a choice and they do not get the choice not to move. If you're on the forced split list you will be moved. If you don't make a decision with the split UI and you are unguilded then you will go wherever the blizzard team decides to send you.

This also has the potential to split all of your characters up into two different realms if you do not make the decision yourself.

In theory it's a pretty fair system. They have also said they will give a very advanced warning.

Check the following link to see all that blizzard has to say on the subject.

Also note, they will do everything humanly possible to prevent a realm split. But sometimes you just can't avoid this type of thing as it IS a database and there is only so much a database can do before it has problems.
