This is a great thread Kolem. I'm slowly working my way through your list.
One that is nice for Stormsong's vanity is WOW Model Viewer. Gotta make those outfits match. The only problem i have with that is creating the animated gifs. You mentioned that you use them to create the avatars in the lists. When I use it I get an animated screen of blue. Is there a secret?
The other one that acts somewhat strangly is that ItemRack wonderful as it is doesn't clear whatever was last on at the shoulders, hands and wrists. Have you seen this?

Found Here to make mine, the only problems I had when making mine was getting the proportion right while still keeping it small. These animated GIFs can be quite large if you aren't careful.
I've heard a couple others having problems with ItemRack, but I'll be honest, I've had NONE,,, maybe I'm just blessed by the addon gods
,,, you may want to check out
ItemRack 2.0-beta,,, I haven't checked it out as the current one is working well for me...
ClosetGnome may work for ya too...

The beta has a few interface changes that I like but removes the helm/cloak on and off fuction which I love. You'll have to reset all of your sets and keybinds though if you download it.
The problem I had with the animation not showing was due to a needed graphics card driver. I updated that and all works very smoothly.

just an fyi, this link doesn't change, and I usually do update the zip when I do a post with the daily changes... I did so earlier, I just forgot to say I updated the zip...
Does the zip file install all the addons that are listed? Or do you have the option of loading some and not others?
I unziped them into a seperate directory and am dragging a few at a time across to make sure everything is working together. If you unzip them all into your addon folder then they are all on unless you uncheck them in the Addons area as you first log into the game.
Yeah, Gorggrot has it right. Any addons added into your interface/addons folder automatically are enabled IF the TOC file has a current version number. I highly recommend enabling Load Out Of Date Addons when you click on the Addons button in the lower left of the character select screen...

I did some more research into this one for you Flu, unfortunately there is no way to directly query the amount of time remaining on another player's buffs, at least according to the WoWAPI,,,
BuffComm looks like it has potential, but unfortunately it only works effectively when everyone is using the addon...
GatherSage looks like it had a couple coding bugs,,, the author hasn't updated, but you can find a working version at
this link if you need it...

Cartographer Quest sounds like a lovely idea but doesn't seem to be working correctly (nor any of the other note replated ones for that matter).
If you ran any older versions of cartographer make sure you delete all cartographer_<whatever> folders in your addons folder. You may also want to go through your SavedVariable directories in your WTF folder and clear out and LUA files there as well...
I can tell you that just last night I was using Cartographer_Quest successfully,,, it even handily popped up !s and ?s on my map when quests were completed or said ppl had a quest for me that I didn't accept...
