Who's Online
There are currently no members online.

Ralthe 'Hutan' Terethil
1) State your name and any titles that you have earned, through service to the Horde in battle or otherwise
I am Ralthe Terethil, though I usually go by the alias of 'Hutan', a name given to me as a child. Don't ask.

I am a farstrider, or at least, I am recognised somewhat as one. My own Farstrider kin have been distancing themselves from me as of late, so I have repaid in kind by distancing myself from them. I am not much of a combatant, though I have been learning how to use the gun from the Tauren.

2) List your vocation, be it Mage, Hunter, or any other.
I am, in essence, a hunter(18 as of this moment), specialising in training of esoteric beasts. My ravager, Kerengga, is one of them, obtained from near The Exodar's Crash Site (Getting there was hard, but not impossible - I find it was a bit of a challenge).

Careful, he bites.

3) Please introduce yourself to us, as much of your personal history as you feel comfortable sharing at this time.
My personal history isn't much different than most other blood elves of my generation. Born into a family with a Mage mother and a ranger father, most of my childhood was either spent watching my mother do magic tricks or learning of natural lore from my father. I had a younger sister, Relirra - I don't remember much of her, or much of anything, before the war. It may seem strange to others but, I do not wish to remember.

I was inducted as a trainee Ranger only a dozen or so years before Arthas cut a swath through Quel'Thalas. It was short, fleetingly so, and forgettable. The next few years or so were spent patrolling Eversong... and truth be told, sometimes I wished that more happened in that time.

Of course, I was to get that when the Scourge invaded.

In the slaughter that followed Arthas' coming, my father died - I watched him get skewered by a large undead crypt fiend - and... well... I ran. It was one of those memories I try to forget, and at the same time I shall always remember.

Eventually, when Arthas got what he came for, and the sunwell disappeared, I found that my mother, too, died - and was resurrected as one of their legion of undead. I knew not what happened to my sister, nor did I care, at the moment. Rage did not overcome me like all the others who survived. It was more... like wistfulness. I lost what little ties I had to Quel'thalas, including my own identity. After staying for only a short while with the survivors as they went about in rebuilding Silvermoon, I left, having no obligation to tell anyone. I had no direction, just a drive to get out of the broken lands of Quel'thalas. Eventually I found myself in Kalimdor.

And then time passed. And now, the Blood Elves, as they call themselves now, allied with the Horde. Although I have no real obligation or loyalty to Kael'thas or Lor'Themar, the rest of the Horde appealed to me more, most of them displaced from their own homes in one way or another somehow, and finding themselves a new home, instead of clinging to the past. I found myself helping them, learning of their culture, slowly but surely. I was not there when Alleria fought the old Horde, and thus I didn't really feel the prejudice that some have with the orcs and the trolls.

Besides, I was sorely missing some good, non-growling conversation with someone else other than the voice in my head.

4) Tell us about any professions you have taken up, such as Tailoring or First Aid.
I've taken up, of all things, Tailoring. It's easier to sew up tears in your own clothing in the wild if you actually know how not to make the tear worse. I've also been dabbling in Enchantments and First Aid as well.

5) What are the Clans, Tribes, or Guilds that you have been a part of in the past, if any?
I have been in none, aside from the Farstriders themselves.

6) Please describe what drew your interest in joining the Ironsong Tribe, and any memorable interactions you have had with members of Ironsong.
I've actually had no interactions with them at this very moment aside from just hearing about them. I've been wandering a long

7) What is the greatest trial you have faced, either long ago, or in the recent past?
Just surviving, after I left. It was hard to be thrown into the wilderness, alone, with no one to rely on but yourself and your own skills. No amount of training can really prepare for the harrowing experience of living alone, scrounging for food - and mana sources - and all the while dodging wild animals and hostile brigands alike.

I looked like a mess the first time I arrived in the Crossroads, after surviving off the land for so long.

8) What are your current goals, or some of your greatest desires, and the reasons behind them?
Current goals..? I have none yet. Perhaps, to be accepted in a society once again..? Maybe even find out what happened to my sister..?

And my greatest desires... I want to see Outland.

9) What do you enjoy most in your adventures in Azeroth?
Seeing new lands. I have explored only a fraction of Azeroth, and even then, tales of Outland tease at my wandering heart. Perhaps, one day.

10) Finally, have you read our Code of Conduct, and do you agree to abide by the rules stated in it? If so, please state so here in addition to a reply to the post itself.
I have, and they are fair. I agree to abide if and such I am accepted.
