New Members policy
#1
Here's what was agreed upon by the farseers and blademasters last moot:

Any and all prospective members must be introduced to the tribe BEFORE receiving tribe invites. The best way to do this is to have them come to the weekly officer moot and introduce themselves.

Once this is done, the new member will be made a Peon in the guild. Thus begins their trial membership in the Ironsong Tribe.

Then, after a week or so, if they have demonstrated to the officers that they are worthy candidates, and they have expressed a desire to stay in the guild, we will make them full members, and I will promote them to the rank of Grunt or Adept.

Alts of current members are exempt from this process, and can be invited without due process.

I'd like to also note that an excellent way to demonstrate to the officers that you are a worthy candidate, though certainly not the only way, is by posting a character story or background to the forums. Not everyone's forte but appreciated when you are able and willing. (Not Ayble and Willful!)
