Lady Sylvanas's song...

I'm sure many have seen this already, but it's quite hauntingly beautiful.
The Lament of the Highborne, about the fall of Quel'thalas.

<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipQBFDb_SFI">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipQBFDb_SFI</a><!-- m -->

The words:
Anar'alah, anar'alah belore.
Sin'dorei.
Shindu fallah na.
Sin'dorei.
Anar'alah.
Shindu Sin'dorei.
Shindu fallah na.
Sin'dorei.
Anar'alah belore.
Shindu Sin'dorei.
Shindu fallah na.
Sin'dorei.
Anar'alah belore.
Belore.

And the translation:
By the light, by the light of the sun.
Children of the blood.
Our enemies are breaking through.
Children of the blood.
By the light.
Failing children of the blood.
They are breaking through.
O children of the blood.
By the light of the sun.
Failing children of the blood.
They are breaking through.
O children of the blood.
By the light of the sun.
The sun.

(( Completing this quest last week was a beautiful moment for me. You are presented with a book with the complete lyrics to the Lament. One of the best keepsakes I have seen!
The haunting music will likely be on the BC music disk.))

This goes a long way into putting perhaps a little more personality in Sylvannas. As most undead are undeniably coming from a tragic background, its good blizzard decided to give their leader a spark of something besides the usual undead hatefulness. That and its good you can actually work for her instead of her usual quest delegators, neither of which are particularly friendly folk.

Though few things in the game are more satisfying than having the Lord Ranger finnaly aknowledge you...sadly thats the one and only time he'll do it.
