Please excuse the -huge- image (and the horrible job I did at trying to make it narrower), but I came across this earlier..

And dear god... Kael'thas Sunstrider's loot table:

Heh, good thing it seems those items can only be used within Tempest Keep.

From what I've read, the rumors suggest that those items are used in the event where you fight Kael'thas.

Yeah, that's what it looks like to me too. I dunno, fight-specific legendary items seems kinda lame to me.

Not really, in my opinion. I think it's a very wise move by Blizzard. If people -need- such uber gear to be able to have a chance at winning an encounter, this is the very best way to implement it. Can you imagine having this kind of thing to use against other players? Vastly unfair.

For sure it's better than them being usable elsewhere. I'm just not sure I like the idea of needing crazy-uber items to do stuff in the game. Seems like a lot of dev time put in for something that a teeny tiny segment of the population will see. I guess it'll depend on how it works out. Then again, per needing specific items for the raid, I guess it's not all that much different from instancing to get gear to raid Smile

I believe that's how it's been for places like Naxxramas and other higher-end zones after MC, too. Wink

*nods* True enough. At least they're scaling smaller, instead of larger, for instances.
