Going to be out for about a week

Hi all. I just wanted to touch base while I have computer access and tell ya that I'll be out of game and probably forums too, for about a week. My computer crashed last night and I've a new board and processor ordered but it won't be here til friday. They have me working 7 days this week so even after I get it it'll be a few days before I have it up and running. It's all very sad really. I got this 'purdy' new video card, installed it and played for three hours in bliss before everything went kerplewey. It was a power surge on an unprotected board. *sigh* Its never unprotected, and the one time I just plug the darned thing in and turn it on... ...Lesson to us all.

My condolences to you on the untimely demise of your PC. I see that you have progressed to the "acceptance" phase of the grieving process and I am glad to see you are moving on with your life. We await your return.
