Am I the only person that thinks being able to browse any player's every intimate detail is kinda creepy?

I really want to see what's so creepy about it, but eevery time I try to access it (other people have already complained about it on these forums, so no, you're not the only one), it won't load.

It does seem rather...odd. I am not quite sure what to really say about it.

They need to update it. It doesn't show how many children I have.
I was a bit frightened at first looking at it. But it's just a game. What is someone going to do? Heeeey...your Leatherworking is only 315/375 LOL lrn2skn?
or LAWLZ yur combat spec. lrn2plyrogue.
It seems to be the same as inspecting someone plus seeing their rep and skills. What's to hide? I'm just bummed as to how many realms already have my names. Sad
BTW does it show somewhere that all my alts belong to my account? Then I would be worried.

I like it because it lets me show off my medicrity in my signiture.

I think it's really cool, as long as they dont give out any of my RL info, it's pretty spiffy. Now if they only showed your bank and bag contents to show how much of a pack rat you really are. Tongue

What worries me is Arena matches.

I have a dual monitor setup and I play WoW windowed- I could very simply get the spec and gear for the opposing team before the round starts. Our team would know exactly what to expect from our enemies, what spells they have, what tradeskill specific items they are likely to have... everything.

You'd only have a few moments to do that after the match starts because I'm sure you cannot even access the score screen until after the arena match.

Plus, if you know how to PVP you won't need to know. You're just that good. mwhahah.

I feel morally obligated to point out, as I did in the thread in the Grunts-only forums, that it is a fallacy to say that only those with something to hide should want privacy.

All they need to do is include an option to turn your profile off if you prefer. That's it.
