There's a scratched note on the totem:
"I've always wanted to be a leader for peace, and not for war. In recent times, I've realized that, as powerful as I've become, it's not the right path for me. Back when I joined the Tribe, I stated that I wanted to become a leader to bring people together. That was also the purpose of my time among the dwarves last summer. I'm off to Moonglade to study the healing arts from the Druids. I don't know when I'll be back.
